Atlantic Natural Foods announces new recipe launch for Loma Linda’s Plant-Based Goodness TUNO

Atlantic Natural Foods, leading manufacturer of plant-based brands announced today that the Loma Linda brand is relaunching TUNOTM, the UK’s leading plant-based seafood alternative, with contemporary designs applied to all products, and a new and improved recipe across the TUNOTM range. 


In line with the relaunch, the brand has also introduced a fifth TUNOTM flavour, Mild Curry, adding to its current offering of TUNOM Mayo, Spring Water, Lemon Pepper and Thai Sweet Chili.  


All of the TUNOTM flavours will be available for sampling at the Natural & Organic Products Expo in London at Atlantic Natural Foods stand no. X86. TUNOTM Mild Curry will also be on display for the Best New Vegan Product Awards. 


Made with ethically and sustainably sourced plant-based ingredients Loma Linda’s award-winning TUNOTM is a protein-rich, gluten-free seafood alternative, with the perfect, light, flaky texture of traditional tuna and is completely fish-free. The brand is also the first seafood alternative to carry ‘The Vegan Society’s renowned Vegan Trademark. 


TUNOTM was created in collaboration with seafood industry experts from around the world to help address the growing crisis of global fish stocks being overfished.

The brand has to date protected 300,000 fish in our oceans through sales of its innovative products and is tackling the overfishing problem across the globe head on by encouraging consumers to eat more flexibly and choose plant-based fish alternatives a couple of times a week.   


Loma Linda is confident the relaunch will facilitate more opportunities in the market and attract more tuna lovers to switch to plant-based with the new and improved product, as well as appeal to vegans and vegetarians.  


The team is also working on several exciting new plant-based concepts to develop their range and expand their alternatives further.
